This month marks something of a ground-breaking territory with the game actually being promoted on Reddit for testers and seeing a ton of new faces coming in to check things out. This also means… a lot broke! It’s been great seeing folks enjoying themselves and interacting with each other and the AI.
September’s updates included the largest commit I’ve made to the Neural Net repository to date with tons of fixes, quality-of-life updates, and new features.
New/Updated Commands:
- @game-options — now includes option for enabling/disabling the web client auto-display of images
- health/ht — displays health bar for self-‘health’ command (variably accurate depending on stats), and health messages revised
- diagnose <person> — better messaging of drug influences
- @page <admin> — we can talk directly now
- @who — see online admin (yes, it’s still just me) and if they’re idle
- slap <person> — anyone can do it, but medics can now slap someone awake instead of using wire derms
- @ai-enable/disable — can manually set whether or not NPCs will consider responding in order to save membership interaction quotas/reduce spam
- setpassword — from inside apartments/rentables you can now change your door codes
- autopilot <destination> — can now quick-select a programmed destination for vehicle autopilot
- stop <driving/flying> — stop moving after using autopilot/fly x,y/drive or fly <directions>
- =<channel> @last — display message history on a channel
- -L — show comlink message history (Com Log on menu)
- @finalize <custom clothing> — lock in the messages/etc for a customizable clothing item
- @nude <bodypart> is “” — can actually clear nude messages now
- pose/. <pose> — fix for single-word spoken poses breaking after speech and some missing pronouns
Environment:
